My name is Jackie and I have a few screws loose but it's okay - I use them to build beautiful things.

Enthusiastic storylines, inspiring characters and beautiful landscapes draw me into each new game I play so, naturally, I do my best to make sure my life is just as interesting as the worlds I create!

Games have motivated me to overcome some of the greatest obstacles in my life. I have been told that one of my strongest characteristics is my ability to take negative experiences and turn them into positives ones. Helping others see their self-worth and potential is a passion of mine.

With the way I look at it, just because life is advertised as a single player game doesn't mean that we can't try our best to make it a cooperative adventure with each new person we meet!

The Strong National Museuem of Play

Game Designer/Creative Director

My primary focus in this project was the creation of portable pocket games from the late 1800’s to mid 1900’s (ball mazes, etc) and recreating them for mobile platforms for release on The Strong’s website and/or other digital distribution networks.

I had the pleasure of working at MAGIC Spell Studios with a team who was focused on using games and interactive media as a form of therapy for children diagnosed with mental illnesses. The project I created art assests and designed UI/UX for was Repetition Rebellion, a mental and emotional health tracking app that can be prescribed by a mental/behavioral health care professional for a client meeting criteria for a variety of DSM 5 diagnoses including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, and high functioning autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
